I'm David LaRocco

I grew up in an Italian restaurant. Literally - it was the family business. I learned the virtue of hard work there, as well as how to make perfect pizza crust. Important skills.

But I also learned about people. Later, in various retail roles, it was all about listening: customers, co-workers, managers, employees. And that allowed me to see systems, and ways to improve them. Or at least document their breakdowns - both critical to growth.

In software development, I am applying these skills (pizza crust and all) to understanding more complex systems, more complex problems. It gets more thrilling the more I learn. And designing web sites allows me use my creative skills, too.

Hopefully, we'll be working together soon. Until then, enjoy the adventure that is code...and life!
